Where you stand depends on where you sit.
My college mentor told me that and it has always resonated with me. I have used this when traveling in other countries, when visiting other cultures within our own country, and I remind myself of this often when people are standing up for something to remember to look where they sit. I am curious about where you sit…. I believe that when we can be curious it allows for compassion and empathy and understanding and love to grow. I encourage you to be curious and not afraid… spread love and not fear…. offer compassion and not judgement…. and if this causes you distress or makes you angry, I really hope you get curious about why? And above all else I hope when it comes to others living their authentic truthful beautiful life and celebrating their love…. unless your keeping them to say “FUCK YEAH!”….you have no fucks to give.
